Polar Bear Dip Cancelled

February 15, 2015 by orilliawintercarnival

**UPDATE** Feb 20, 2015

Due to the extreme cold alerts and icy cold weather conditions, having the safety of the Volunteers and Dippers’ as a priority, the Orillia Winter Carnival Committee decided to cancel the Polar Bear Dip Sunday, Feb 15.

**NOTICE TO ALL DIPPERS**

The Committee has decided not to reschedule the event for this year. We do realize that many people have collected pledges for each of the beneficiary charities for this year. Starting Monday Feb 23 through Friday March 6 from 9am-5:30pm, and Saturday March 7 from 9am-1pm, you may drop of those pledges at:

Orillia ProNet (above Marvel Hair School on the main street of Orillia)
25 Mississaga St E
Orillia, ON

After March 9 all funds collected will be presented to the charities. Please help us in supporting these worthwhile groups!

Thank for all your efforts!
